Rogers will carry iphone in Canada
Tue/January/07
| PermalinkAnyone in the US reading this, carry on. Nothing to see here.
Being in Canada we always get new products a bit later than the US but it seems Rogers of Canada is on top of the iphone business stating they have the exclusive rights in Canada to sell the iphone. Being the only GSM carrier in Canada Apple didn't really have much of choice.
Apple Post 1 Billion in Profit
Tue/January/07
| PermalinkA Billion? Now thats allot of ipods! After watching the last Keynote introducing the iphone I can imagine this won't be the last big quarter for Apple Computers.
I plan to keep an eye on the iphone product as it could be a real turning point for the mobile phone market.
The "Wow" starts now

| PermalinkVista was released to the public today. Instead of creating two great products and sell them at a reasonable price Microsoft decided it would be much more complicated if they released 5 versions of windows and 4 different versions of MS Office. I had a chance to play around with one of the versions last week before the release. If you like pop up warnings and complicated menus systems I can say that this is the operating system for you.
What ever version you buy, there will be a Service Pack out a few days later.
Cingular is now the new At&t
Tue/January/07
| PermalinkLet me get this strait. At&t sold their wireless business to Cingular and then purchased it back after the company created the strong brand Cingular. To explain this to the masses the clever marketing team at At&t came up with.
"Cingular is now the new At&t". What does that even mean?? Anyone? It doesn't even make sense. Its sounds like a riddle that doesn't have an answer. I can understanding At&t wanting to promote the fact they now own the brand Cingular but why don't they say, "Cingular... Now part of the At&t Family of successful companies.
